Treasures Discovered ~ Treasures Preserved

I created the collage of stones and painting from Lake Michigan stones I collected from the beaches of Beverly Shores IN. I spent many hours on that beach; morning sunrises, afternoon swims with the kids and evening sunsets with friends. This held such a special meaning to me, I can think of nothing more gratifying then creating for you something just as connected. I promise you I will pour all the emotions you care to share about your treasure into a painting for you.

Symbolic treasures serve to embody your memories, longings and desires, hopes and dreams or even your deepest fears. Here is your opportunity to create a custom watercolor of lasting memory of treasures discovered.

Stones, leaves, sea shells or a stick . . . who hasn't found a small treasure while on vacation, something that holds special meaning or just looks interesting, reminding you of that special time or that special person in your life.

Many of these treasures, after coming home, are hidden away in a drawer or sit on a shelf collecting dust.

With a beautiful custom watercolor, your treasure and your special memories are memorialized forever and can be prominently framed and displayed.

Walking along the beach on your honeymoon and you each reach to pick up that one shell that speaks to your heart.

After hiking hours along that river or around that lake, you stop to pick up that one rock that with the slight fissure, representing a healing in your life.

As kids, my sister and I each autumn would search for the perfect red maple leaf. Color-Shape-Clarity. Years later we gave our Parents a red maple tree for their 25th Wedding Anniversary. Each year visiting them for our Dad’s October birthday, we would as usual search for that perfect leaf. My sister passed away unexpectedly and the following autumn I gathered 4 leaves from that tree. One for each of the four of us. I posted an image of these leaves on-line. Two months later my Dad passed as well.

Larry, in the amazing manner that only Larry can do, painted for me a watercolor of those leaves as a memory of my family. Today it is one of my greatest possessions.
